RED was the title of this year’s annual exhibition of members of WAI – Westland Arts Inc – held in the Carnegie Gallery, Hokitika Museum from 14 – 28 April. The theme resulted in a very vibrant exhibition.
I had four entries, all handwoven using dyed harakeke (NZ flax): Pohutukawa, Flaming Palm, and Fireworks #1 and Fireworks #2 (now part of the Emanation series)
