Sculptural works created in the outdoors by Anne Daniel – on Hokitika Beach and in the garden – using materials such as driftwood, harakeke and supplejack vine. The beach sculptures were entries in Driftwood and Sand, an annual event on the beach at Hokitika. I like to use plant materials growing in my large garden and the surrounding native bush in all aspects of my creative work.
